Design and Economics
Design and Economics started as a collaboration with Mark Simpkins and launched in 2021 as an unconference with the support of Ravensbourne University The project pulls together various threads around how design and economics connect, conflict, and shape each other.
D+E Workshop, May 2025. Hosted by Gill Wildman
The Unconference
The 2021 unconference took place online, partly as a reaction to world events but also as an opportunity to bring together people from all over the world. We created a mechanism to make the unconference “self-serve” and managed to schedule 21 sessions, all of which were recorded and added to the project Notion site along with other resources.
